The Lemur Project-cluster is built upon a facilitied version of Fedora Core 3. This means that you will have access to all of the standard SCS software packages that you are used to (via AFS) and you will also be able to access AFS shares for your home directory as well. Our version of FC 3 is also "kerberoized" to allow you to login using your SCS username and password (if you have a SCS account). If you do not have a SCS account, a local account on the cluster can be created for you.
