Most lectures are recorded by the instructor and posted to the course web page, so it is not necessary for students to record lectures.
Nobody is permitted to make audio, video, or any other form of recording of any classroom activity without the express written consent of the instructor. If a student believes that he or she is disabled and needs to record classroom activities, he or she should speak to the instructor or contact the Office of Disability Resources to request an appropriate accommodation.
